Frank Baumann

Chief Executive Officer, Chairman, & Founder

An executive and entrepreneur, Frank has delivered successful ventures on the cutting edge of construction and engineering for over twenty-five years. His mantra, “there’s always a better way,” has driven him to be several steps ahead of various industries, placing him as a leader and visionary in emerging markets. The inventor and designer behind two of our key technologies, the Core-FS System and the Hydrogen EV Box. Before starting his career in advanced general and electrical contracting, Frank served in the US Air Force. Alongside the many businesses Frank has launched to date, he also founded two non-profits: the ELF Foundation and Transform New Mexico.

Terrance Mendez, CPA, CGMA

Chief Operating & Financial Officer

Terrance (Terry) Mendez has nearly 25 years of experience leading multi-national SEC registrants and private businesses through development, finance transformation and process automation across multiple industries from software & technology to manufacturing & distribution. Before joining GreenCore, Terry stepped in as the CEO to turn-around and vertically integrate a cannabis company, nearly doubling annual sales while achieving 34 pts of operating margin. Terry graduated from the Wharton School of Business and has 14 years of Big 4 public accounting experience.

C. Norwood Davis

Chief Commercial Officer and Board Member

Through a broad range of executive experiences and board appointments, Norwood brings 25 years of strategic and financial leadership to GreenCore. Norwood is also the CFO of 12Stone Church and The John Maxwell Company. Currently, he serves on the board of several other premier organizations, including a full-service lender serving 10 states across the US Southeast, the second largest church loan fund in the United States (with over $1 billion in assets), and a 5-hospital system in the Metro Atlanta area. Norwood also serves on the boards of several not-for-profit organizations. Prior to GreenCore, Norwood spent 12 years in a variety of executive roles with Duke Energy, a Fortune 500 global energy company.  Norwood graduated with honors from The Citadel with a degree in Civil Engineering and earned his MBA from The Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University. 

 

John Bradford

Chief Science and Technology Officer

During his 25 years in innovation and technology, John has made tremendous strides to the intersection of profitability and sustainability. Much of his career has been spent at Interface, a global leader in modular flooring, where he has served as both Chief Innovation Officer, Chief Technology and Science Officer. John has led global teams in a wide array of industries and delivered rapid growth alongside sustainable product launches. Among these products is the notable first of its kind Carbon Negative Carpet.

Brian Thomson

Chief Revenue Officer

Brian started his sales career with NCR selling POS systems and earned 15 “Presidents Club” awards with multiple tech companies. He has over 30 years of experience in leading sales organizations both national and international, from start-ups to companies with over $500 million in revenues. He has also owned 5 of his own companies including a consulting firm that focused in the areas of Sales/ Business Development, VC Capital Investment, General Contracting, Cyber Security and a safety technology to manage and prevent driver fatigue and distraction. He was a member of the National Transportation Safety Board and has been on the board of several non-profits. Brian earned a BBA in Marketing/Finance and an MBA in Finance.

Sam Tesh

Chief Marketing Officer

With 15 years of innovative brand consulting, Sam is the CEO and Founder of Civil Creative Agency, where he leads a national team of top-tier strategists, designers, brand specialists, and activation/implementation experts. His list of notable clients includes Delta Airlines, Chick-Fil-A, Nike, TED, and The Home Depot. Sam has been featured on Fox News, Fox Business, CNN, AJC, and SXSW. 

Mark Cole

Board Member

For over twenty years, Mark has served as a key leader with various John Maxwell enterprises, as well as the president and CEO for the last ten. With extensive knowledge of organizations in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors, Mark brings a capacity for vision and execution to every opportunity. Additionally, in 2008, Mark launched his consulting firm The IRON League to provide leadership advice to high-achieving organizations.

Beverly Ophoff

Board Member

Beverly’s background includes experience in varied sectors and tremendous contributions to society. She has used her 25 years of international marketing experience to positively impact orphanages, hospitals, and other key institutions around the world. In 2010, she received the inaugural Generosity Award given by the Amway Corporation for these efforts. Beverly has published four books available in 15 languages: Positive Charge, Hitting the Highest Notes, A Woman’s Guide to Bootstrapping a Business, and Sunday Morning.

Luis D Ramos

Board Member

Luis spent 30 years in Risk Management and Corporate Compliance with a focus on software development and innovation. Serving as CEO of The Network, Inc (TNI) from 2009 to 2015, Luis oversaw dramatic growth and market share acquisition. By 2015, TNI provided GRC solutions to 50% of the Fortune 500, and its software and services touched 1 in 4 employees in the US. TNI was acquired by Vista Equity Partners, the leading investor in enterprise software, data, and technology companies in the world. Vista asked Luis to become COO of NAVEX Global, the surviving portfolio company, in order to lead the integration of the combined businesses. After fulfilling his commitment to Vista, Luis retired in 2017 and now serves on various boards.
